What Portland homeowners say

Pavel refinished my floors which turned out beautiful but the standout work was the tile setting in my two bathrooms. The most amazing was his setting in the accent tiles around my bathtub. They were fragile, thin glass, and as you can see in the picture, the result is amazing. Pavel and his partner were very careful about controlling dust and cleaning up. Zero complaints and 100% compliments for the quality and timeliness, I would definitely hire Pavel again for any future work.

I have worked with Popovici Construction multiple times on various projects. Every time they have exceeded my expectations! Pavel (the owner) goes above and beyond what is expected and gets you an excellent service. He has done multiple kitchens, bathrooms and all kinds of various tile work for me. He has also helped me on hardwood jobs and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a quality contractor!

Pavel did a fantastic job on the tile renovation of my bathroom. He had foresight to troubleshoot potential areas of challenge, was timely and efficient in the work, and was competitive in pricing. I would definitely recommend Pavel for any tile work.

Can’t speak highly enough of his work. I was told by other contractors I’d picked tile that was too complicated to install but he had it up and then precisely grouted in only a few hours’ time and it looks absolutely beautiful. Would recommend his work to anyone I know and I’ll absolutely be hiring him again. Thanks so much!

Everything about our experience with Pavel was great; from estimate to completion. We had subway tile installed on three of our kitchen walls. The finished job is beautiful, and the experience was smooth and easy. Pavel was respectful of our time and our home. He arrived on time, worked a full day, protected surfaces and cleaned up every day. Could not be more satisfied!

Popovici Construction LLC, Pavel's work is amazing. My home was built in 1957 and needed some work. The hardwood floors have been refinished beautifully, they look like new. He gave me several choices of stain color, putting them on the floor so I could pick the perfect color. They installed my kitchen and bath tile as well, I highly recommend this company!

We are very pleased! We contacted Get Hardwood Floors when we realized we were in over our heads trying to refinish our oak floors that were in rough shape. They were incredibly responsive and have done an amazing job. They worked with our schedule and were very reasonably priced. Not only did they sand and seal our floors, they replaced multiple boards that were damaged. Our floors turned out so much better than if we had tried to do them ourselves and I'm really glad we called them. Based on our experience and the other reviews we've read, we will use them for the future tile projects we have planned.

Pavel did a great job. Very detailed and reasonable on pricing. He does the job right without cutting corners. I would recommend him to anyone. I had him install tile floor and a backsplash. I will use him again for my wood floors when I have them done.

Pavel is a great craftsman and a pleasure to work with. He did a beautiful job on our hardwood floors in a timely manner and for a very reasonable cost. I would recommend him to anyone looking for great work. 5 stars for sure.

Super happy! Pavel came to see me and give me an estimate when the roads were still a little icy. I needed to have a job done on time and he made it happen. The floors are 100 years old with lots of character. I couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out. He was efficient, kind, responsive, and affordable. He is my guy when it matters most. Thank you Pavel.

I’ve used Popovici Construction on multiple projects. The quality is exceptional and very detail oriented. From tile work to sanding hardwood, or LVP install we trust Popovici Construction to get the job done correctly. Their prices are very fair. Thanks again.

We built a house last year, for the first time in our lives and the process was hard and challenging. Hiring teams and all that stuff was nerve wrecking and not everyone was looking for our best interests. But one of the best people we worked with was Pavel Popovici, reliable and trustworthy, always performing the best job we could ask for. We will always recommend him to our friends and think highly about his work.

Pavel was responsive to our initial phone call and the quote he gave us was very competitive. He removed the old carpet and installed hardwood floor. He did an amazing job not only for the new installation and but also for refinishing the old hardwood floor which then looks like new and perfectly matches the new installation. The quality of the hardwood floor work is very impressive and we really love the new look of the house. Pavel is very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. It has been a great experience for us to work with him. We highly recommend him to anyone who wants to install or refinish hardwood floors.

Pavel is a true professional. Always on time, budget, and delivers very high quality and thorough work. He clearly cares about doing a great job and it shows. We have worked together on many jobs over the years and he is one of the good guys. We will definitely work together in the future. Thank you Pavel!

I’ve used Pavel multiple times and every single time he’s been extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful with all I needed done. He’s installed new hardwood, and laminate and it turned out flawless. Along with repairing and refinishing older hardwood making it look new. I recommend him 100% to all!!

Loved our experience with Pavel! We had a small job - a hallway with beat up fir - that Pavel helped us with. We were thinking we needed to pull it up and replace it with oak to withstand the traffic but we are also putting down a carpet runner in that hallway and up the stairs. Pavel asked: “if you’re going to cover it up, why replace it? Let me try to refinish it first”. He was right and the job was half the cost of replacing. Now we want all the fir in the house redone! Pavel was professional, prompt and kept our house clean. He was done in two days with minimal disruption. Thanks Pavel.

Pavel did a great job finishing this red oak stair landing!!

Pavel was great! Reliable, flexible, and pleasant to work with. The floor is exactly what I wanted at a very competitive price. Highly recommend!!
